Route description: Glas Tulaichean & Càrn an Rìgh, Glenshee

Munros included on this walk: Beinn Iutharn Mhòr, Càrn an Rìgh

my first ever post here after 25 years on the munro trail so hi to all,
finally got to do carn an righ after being forced down off glas tulaichean in a blizzard several winters ago.

weather looked good so travelled up from preston thursday night after work on a 3 day trip, so stocked up at tesco lesmahagow - how i miss the old europa truck stop tho :thumbdown: arrived 12 pm and slept in car at spittall of glenshee nice 5 hour drive !

woke to fog filled glen and sharp frost - so on with the gear - breakfast and away we go up glen taitneach - followed glen all the way up to lip of the lochan which was a tad frozen - sun made an appearance however

on with the spikes and up fairly easy slopes to first summit on hard icy snow

arrived summit of first munro with great veiw into heart of the cairngorms

traversed across easy ground to coll, view across to carn an righ summit

and up to carn an righ summit [ very hard ice slope ]

heading down now watching out for these snow bridges which can have some fair drops underneath if you go through one !!
