After doing Deuchary Hill in the morning it was too early to go home so decided to stop off in Birnam to climb to the Kings Seat. I left from Birnam, walking up past the firestation where waymarked signs lead you up Birnam Hill. It's a steep climb but you gain height quickly and forty minutes took me to the summit. I was going to head back down the way i came but as it was a nice day and didn't take long to get to the summit i opted to do the circular route. A very nice hill walk.

There looks to be a good coating of windmills away in the distance :? I envy you guys who can complete a walk then after the warmth and comfort of a few miles in the car they can stop and do it all again....I can't bring myself to do that

Some cracking views from that little beauty :D

Nice to see some Sub2000ft Marilyn reports appearing on WH.
Good couple of hills - Deuchary and Birnam, especially Deuchary.
The path up Birnam looks like it has had some work done to it in the past year.

This is a brill wee hill to breack up the A9 boredom :) . Nice and steep so all the right muscles get a proper workout even in a short time.
