Arriving at the Linn of Dee car park just afer 8 with overcast skies and car temp of 1c.The forecast was to brighten up later in the day so fingers crossed.
Left the car at 830am on the bike passing a few walkers who i would meet again on my return from the summit. it was straightforward biking up until the Luibeg bridge where i decided to leave the bike and head up foot. Was a little boggy just after the bridge but nothing to bad once through the fence and heading upwards. the climb itself was steady but fairly easy and well worth the effort once arriving at the top to the over whellming scenery i was greeted with. every direction was stunning especially over towards Cairn Toul and the Devils Point. I waited at the top for as long as possible before my fingertips were too cold to hang around any longer and made my way back to the car stopping to speak to the walkers i'd passed earlier ,all in all another great day in the hills

Like the pics soapy, looks like two different days at the beginning and end there. :)

Bringing back memories of my first sighting of the Devil's Point, is a fabulous view from that ridge across the Lairig Ghru.

I was up here 1 week after yourself, most of the snows away now. Pity about the weather changing but you still got some good photos from the summit. I'm with you this area is a stunning place and i think my next visit here will also be to do Derry Cairngorm. :)
