Will make this report a fairly short account of our day, left the car around 8.30am & after an eleven & half hour epic, well documented in the report by jonny 616 everybody got back home safe. These two hills have never had a good write up & for good reasons,so a word of caution for anyone thinking of doing them, wait till its a hard frost for a few days,or until there has been a fair few weeks of drought, rest assured they will never be under the soles of any walking boots I will ever have in the future.

You may not want to hear this - but we had a very good day when we did these two (....and the views were great). But that was last year and this year is a whole different ball game with the weather. To be fair, it did take us all day to do it in those good conditions so hats off to you for sticking with it in those conditions.
Bring on summer! :D
