Route description: Stob Ban (Mamores) and Mullach nan Coirean

Munros included on this walk: Mullach nan Coirean, Stob Bàn (Mamores)

Date walked: 15/04/2012

Time taken: 6 hours

Distance: 14.8 km

Ascent: 1155m

Last week in the Fannaichs-rain,sleet,snow,wind,bogs,pesky river crossings,no belt,no mates and general unhappiness :( :( :(
This week in the Mamores-norain,no sleet,no snow,no wind,no bogs,no rivers,a belt,plenty mates and general very happiness. :lol: 8) :lol:
Stob Ban and Mullach nan Coirean were chosen me Ian ,kev and Jake were present,plenty of reports on these 2 so keeping it short,but this was one of the finest days yet in great conditions.Last week in the fannaichs was a major struggle but today was great ,the Mamores are great hills :thumbup: .Also met Gavin99 from the site who we had a good blether to on the top of both hills 8) .A quick pint for the first time in the Clachaig rounded of a crackin' day,good to meet you Gavin and we hope to do the ring of Steall in the next couple of months ,so if you're up for it feel free to send us a PM,looking forward to that one :thumbup:

Braw photies, looks like a good walk (apart from the boulder field, I hate them)

Top day, good choice of hills nay mountains. Pigeon was definitelyy back to normal as us mere mortals could not see his heels for dust.

Hi Pigeon ,great to meet yourself ,Ian ,Kev and Jake, what a cracking day that was :D My only regret is not claiming those sunglasses , they actually look quite cool 8) Just read Kev's RoS report , think I'll wait for a good thaw !

Nice one pigeon :D I love all the Mamores, but have a soft spot for Stob Ban :D Glad to see you enjoyed these two. Ring os Steall is great. I'm no scrambler and I loved it :D Hope you all do too :D

I did these the other way around going up through the trees was really wet.
