Parked at Laggan Locks then cycled along the track to the marker post with boot on it. Left the bikes here and walked up the path through Cam Bhealach. Headed for Sron a' Choire Ghairbh first up the zig-zag path although came off it and headed straight up as there was a fair bit of snow on it. Once at the summit we came down then went up Meall na Teanga. We returned the same way back to the bikes and then back to the car.

This looks very familiar , I did these a couple of weeks ago in similar (rubbish) weather , glad the turn off up Cam Bhealach is still well signposted ........

The boot used to sit on the rock by the side of the post...has it been moved to cause deliberate confusion??? :? :?

Shame it was not the grandest day. I had an aborted attempt on these back in October remember laughing at the boot

Had these two down as part of the backup plans for last week if all else went awry - certainly wasn't the best of weather over the last couple of weeks 8) I'll be looking out for the boot when I do get up here - cheers :D

Another cracker JC, shame about the weather but at least you were out there in the hills....and as always a bad weather day in the hills beats a good weather day at work every time :D

Shame that those boots weren't made for anymore walking. Maybe the fact that they have been ditched at the end of the coffin road is appropriate and a bit of a statement in itself from the boot!

I've got unfinished business on Meall Teanga, which I will try and conclude by sneaking in from Clunes and up Meall Choire Lochain tomorrow. Hope my boots make it :D
