Meall nan Tarmachan
Walked with my nephew Scott.Started off from carpark on left just up from
the Ben Lawers carpark. Weather was good although could not see summit (did clear later).
This was only my second Munro (Ben Lomond being my first) and I found it to be a bit steeper.
but still a comfortable climb. Gets a bit steeper towards summit.

Once on summiit going is quite easy to other tops, Meall Garbh. and Beinn an Eachan.
the walk across is stunning. The bealach between Tarmachan and Meall Garbh has a couple
of lovely sheltered lochans for lunch stop

Climb down from Meall Garg has a lovely 1m wide ridge but only for about 50m.
from the ridge decent there is a small scramble that needs a bit of care but not to much of a prob
No probs up to next top. Beinn an Eachan. descent to Bealach from there and head down left to for decent to car, there are no paths bet keep heading left and you should spot the quarry. I headed straight down following the burn and ended up a kilometer aweay from the quarry so keep left.
Good track from quarry for a couple of km to car
All in all a great walk ,

I loved this ridge. My Munro book said it was an entertaining ridge so we were half expecting dancing girls to suddenly appear. But even without them it was great fun! :D
