Great report Kev, with great photos. We attempted to do the ROS a few years ago in winter from Polduh first summiting Stob Ban and made our way to the Devils Ridge which we traversed with no problems

Things went wrong when we were on the ridge of Sghurr Maim when I slipped and fell about 200 ft before my ice axe gripped, as I was nearly half way down I continued back to Poldubh only damage was to my pride, the skin off my hand and a Seiko watch

Never did find that watch perhaps thats because i've never been back

Nice one 8)

Reminds me of a winter's day some years back when we did the same in reverse - a memorable day.

My French is appalling, but you're title sounds like something out of 'Only Fools and Horses'. Duck a l'Orange, Rodney!

Yeah, classic scene -

"What is the French for duck anyway Rodney?"
"Well, it's canard ain't it Del"
"Yeah, you can say that again Rodders!"
