The day started promising with wall to wall sunshine. I was up for getting some great views as the forecast promised exceptional air quality.

It was a long walk down the glen to the point where I actually started climbing Beinn a'Chreachain, but I was glad I followed the route, as some fellow walkers had a tough time coming cross country over the lower slopes.

Awesome views of Rannoch moor throughout, and the cloud stayed well above the summits, so I'll let the photos and video say the rest.

It’s Jura rather than Arran in that view to the south-west. See here, bottom panel, for the skyline from Beinn Dorain – http://www.viewfinderpanoramas.org/panoramas/GRW/DORAIN.GIF
The Paps are 66 miles from there, so a little further from where you were.
