Is this the real life,
Is this just fantasy?
Climbing Am Bodach,
No escape now, I'm terrified.
I can see why
This is brown trousers hill!
I can see all of the way along the ridge.
Because I'm climbing down Am Bodach,
Now onto, Meall Dearg,
Everywhere the wind blows, definitely matters to me, to me.

Mummy!
I think I've soiled myself, the down climb's pretty bad, and the ice is slippy too.
Mummy!
We've only just begun, but there's still a long way left to go.
Mummy, aaargh!
This can only get better
The ridge is wider now so I can carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters to me.

Uh, oh, our time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine, body aching all the time.
Hello expert guiders, you're very good
We'll do all that you say and we'll be fine.
Guiders, ooooh,
I don't want to die,
I only hope that you've done this all before.

I see a little silhouetto of a hill,
Pinnacle, pinnacle, now i see you're called Crazy!

Snowy now and hail stones, very very slippy.
Pinnacle-o, Pinnacle-o,
Pinnacle-o, pinnacle-o,
Pinnacle-o, narrow ridge, magnifico

I'm just a little scared, of the only bit that's left,
We're looking to our guides, to show us where to step,
Sparing our lives from a catastrophe.

Up a bit, down a bit, show me where to go
Of course we will, show you where to go
(Where to go?) Of course we will, show you where to go
(Where to go?) Of course we will, show you where to go
(Where to go?) show you where to go
(Where to go?) we'll show you where to go
(Where to go?) we'll show you where to go Ah
go, go, go, go, go
Oh, Jim and Martin, Jim and Martin, Jim and Martin, where to go?
Aonach Eagach had been a-scrambled on by me, by meeeeeee.

So you really must do this and give it a try,
It's been amazing to walk along and I didn't die!
Oh, baby, just wanna do this again,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right our and go.

(Guitar solo!)

(Jim and Martin were our guides, just in case you were wondering!)

Great stuff! And I love the photos. You're a braver man than me, I wouldn't be up there in the snow :)

Thanks everyone.

We certainty had a great day out on the ridge. I'm not sure I'd have been brave enough to do without the guides, they were fantastic. Absolutely amazing scramble though, would really recommend it!
