Was about 1/2hr ahead of you lot on Sat, recognise the dog, i had mine with me and he's a bit nippy with other beasts so was watching out in case you caught up haha

Don't think there was much chance of us catching anybody on Saturday Collaciotach Great day was had ,hope you enjoyed your's

Smashing report and pics...My friend and I are doing the 5 sisters in June, But im thinking about doing the South Ridge in Sept on my own,,,all the reports do it from E to W but the Cluanie Inn offered to drive me to the other end so that I would be walking W to E, Any thoughts on that,,I dont have my transport or accom sorted yet so open to suggestions lol...

Aye the lift is a must GillC,no much difference in what end you start isuppose.It,s a gentle walk in from the cluanie end whereas the west end would be steeper but the path is quite clear.Easiest bail out if the weather is bad would be just west of maol chinn dearg.Allow yourself plenty time and go for it

Good stuff , a great effort under the 'self-inflicted' circumstances , that soup looks like mighty medicine

You will definately have tell the young lad to stop fooling about with his acrobatics, hillwalking is a very serious business

Some lovely photos in both sets. However the Laphroagitis one made my stomach turn. A brave effort indeed to do that walk on the strength of a bevvy of drams the night before - about 40% strength that is. The mental effort to finish the walk must have been huge - well done indeed.
