The reason for the walk report title is Mo can talk and i mean talk. From the minute she's in the car she's blethering away and this continues during all the walks we have done even on the steep bits when most of us are breathing out our ass Mo still blethers away. Jimmy so far, up until today could find no cure for this. However when we did The Aonach Eagach ridge today we noticed Mo was noticeably quieter than normal, hence a cure was found. Jimmy commented on our way down saying " Mo you did the right thing today, you kept your mooth shut" . It was a last minute decision to do the ridge as we were planning on climbing Sgurr na h-Ulaidh and it's neighbouring Corbett but driving up to Glen Coe i suggested the ridge as it was perfect conditions for it. Jimmy quickly said yes and Mo reluctantly agreed backing it up by saying " i knew we would end up doing this today" not knowing that myself and Jimmy had briefly spoke about doing it the previous night. This was the first time any of had did the ridge and all found it not to be that bad, ok there are a couple of wee dodgy bits but as long as care is taken they are fine. It would be a differant story doing it in not so good weather though. We however had a perfect day for it and started off just before 8 taking the path upto Am Bodach and onto Meall Dearg. From here we continued along the Pinnacles and ridge to Sgurr nam Fiannaidh, descending just after the 2nd Munro down the scree path towards the A82. We got back to the start 5hrs 30mins after setting off, after a couple in a camper van that was exiting the layby stopped and gave us a lift. This was all down to Mo as she gave them the thumb just as we were about to hit the road. It's great when the first car stops. As for the walk it's exciting and exhilarating and in all three of our opinions not as intimidating as some may lead you to believe. I understand some will have the fear factor about doing this as i did but we just went for it off the cuff and thoroughly enjoyed it. Doing it off the cuff also saved all the anguish in the lead up to it which i would fully recommend.

Now that's not bad for a spur of the moment walk ! I'm glad you found this less intimidating than you thought it might be , this is one of the more reassuring reports I have read - I just hope I share your opinion when I get around to it

Nice pics Johnny.

Good idea that doing it off the cuff. I'm anxious about doing it and i haven't even planned a date for it yet.
I think that's the only weather I'd like to do it too, great views. :)

This is a really helpful report and for once the photos don't make it look too horrific. The good weather obviously has a lot to do with that! :D

Cracking stuff - well done to all of you  You make it sound so easy but not sure I'd be quite as relaxed....maybe "doing it off the cuff " is the best answer after all  - cheers :D
