Not just that you averaged 3km ph over the whole trip, but that's a monster hike for your two poor feet. We managed the 24 peaks in the Lakes - 4000m and 50km - in 19 hours a couple of years ago, but that was over 2 days. Awesome achievement to nail it on one day.

Fantastic account of an epic challenge.

57k is a big walk, as is 5000M ascent....but in that heat it must have made it so difficult.

Great strength and endurance showed.

Well done to everyone involved.

The above says it all. Very well done guys.
I thought we did well on Saturday doing 2450m ascent. :)

Sir D – firstly thanks for all those very kind words - you are true friend and always put others before yourself on the mountains. It’s a pleasure to walk with you with your trusty Sat Map. Maybe now, we can return to the good-old days though and carry a token Strongbow in our pack? - now that all this serious stuff is out of the way!
I am gutted not to have been alongside you and Tim at the finish of this extraordinary challenge, just too much for me. Well Done Guys. – heroic stuff. :D

We all made the right decisions on the day…

To Monty, you showed “true grit”, to walk back that awful 16k along the loch side. Proper John Wayne. You had the hat anyway!

Only 65 to go Andy – I look forward to the grand finale and push to the finishing line with you.

To “honour”…..

Slanj as always

A tear comes to pass from time to time as random thoughts enter my head. Alan (Mountainstar) 'Good luck guys; you will be legends' got me through 11.

YOU ARE NOW LEGENDS
Nice to see my small words of encouragement got you through part of it. :)
I was thinking of the 4 of you all day, and it was great to see the updated coming through on Talk Highlands.
And also hats off in getting this report here so quick after the event 8)
Brilliant guys, a day that you will never forget

Well done

Incredible endurance feat

Ramsay, Tranter, Broxap... now Doggett

I took four days over these hills, and even that included some 'epics'!

To nail them in a one-er, in that heat, is crazy stuff 8)

[quote="andrewdoggett"] And a shout out to my good lady Victoria for keeping everyone up to date; and for her support and encouragement on this monster.

So, Saturday for me was mainly spent phone watching; waiting for communcation to come through to make sure everyone was safe and well. I would worry under normal circumstances, but the heat was incredible and Mrs Craig and i were worried about many a things but mainy dehydration and heat stroke! It was a relief whenever i recieved updates and when the last text came through saying they were on 11 i felt so pleased - They were definitely going to make it ( i always knew Andrew would, he is stubborn and definitely not a quitter!)

It has been fantastic reading everyones comments; all the support received is just overwhelming.

I for one and glad to have them all down, safe and with memories that will go on forever - very proud of you all.

Andrew - I love you...

Craig, Tim and Monty - thank you for going along with him, crazy ideas this man has from time to time - will at least give him something new to talk about for a few months ;)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very impressed indeed
I have tried this round twice and been beaten by the weather on both counts, the ridge between 10 and 11 has a lot of up and down and is indeed hard going.
I was along the south glen shiel ridge on Sat 28 with the children and the heat was very intense
again well done
