Parked up just before the bridge near the farm. There are two well worn paths at the start with one taking you round the initial steep ascent and the other taking you up the steep ascent. We went round taking the less steep option as it was such a warm day, not because we're lazy sods  On the way down we took the more direct steeper option :) After taking the easier option we were on the ridge making our way to the summit. There are a few faulse summitson this ridge but a very enjoyable walk that had a bit of everything from grassy terrain to rocky terrain to a wee bit scrambling and also some scree, the scree being the worst part of it. Once on the summit we had an early lunch as most of us had been up since between 4 and 5 o'clock with the exception of Jimmy and Mo who got the longest lie in. We were on the summit for around 1 hour enjoying the views and fine weather but not enjoying the return of the Midge. This was my first walk this year where they have been out. A great day was had and long may this fine weather continue and not too much effort required for some lovely views :D

Certainly one I have been looking at for a mid week day off. As I see, good for views
How is the sheep situation- dog friendly ?

Didn't notice any sheep so dog friendly there. There is a wee scramble though but you can avoid it by going round the other side of the hump

Nice set of photos Johnny. Looks like a nice scramble can be had if chosen too. Yep the midges are out. Hundreds of the blighters at loch Mullardock Dam last week. Its going to be a painful summer
