We all woke up at 05:30. While we waited for Scraggles to arrive. We had are breakfast and got dressed. Finally Scraggles arrived all ready for the astonishing Aonach Eagach. When Scraggles arrived the boys started to pack the cars ready for the frightening Aonach Eagach. We were in the car for 1 hour. Finally after an hours drive we reached our scary destination.

Me and Sam were very excited and hyper. We were ready to get going - running up and down the hillside also mum was taking pictures of me and sam while dad and Scraggles went to the toilet (a number of times!) At 07:45 we start our climb. When we started our walk some other people started to climb and Scraggles said "if they over take us you have to pull your pants down!" we didn't want to pull our pants down so we kept walking as fast as we could but it was hot and our legs were hurting. When we reached the top of the first mountain and the views were awesome and beautiful and we were shouting to dad and Scraggles" your mad but be careful because we do not wont you getting hurt !"

We finally made it to the scary and frightening scramble stuff. When we were on the scramble stuff dad said "split the kids up and go in a line !" so me and sam were split up and it went dad first then sam then Scraggles then me then mum. When we were at the ,scary and tricky, chimney dad put Sam on his shoulders and I said " can I have a go " but mum and dad said "your to heavy so no." When dad let him down Scraggles said to me "go on up so I can take family picture" and I said "what about you your still part of the family because your uncle Scraggles.

After all the scary stuff it was just a simple stroll across the ridge and on the way down we all fell over a few times. After we came down we had to do another 3km along the road to the pub with cool park. Me and Scraggles finished before mum, dad and sam so me and Scraggles got all of the drinks :Mum wanted half a beer and a half a coke, Sam also wanted coke, dad wanted a beer, Scraggles also wanted a beer and i wanted a nice warm hot-chocolate. In the car me, Scraggles and sam were having a little party on the way home before the real party with Monty, Sam, mum, dad, me, Amanda, Scraggles, and the two dogs Rocko and Brua. Before the crazy stuff began me and Amanda took the dogs out for a walk at the park. I held Brua's lead and Amanda held Rocko's lead. At the park we had fun on the round about.

Then we had a party with Monty.

Wow ! What a weekend and an even bigger WOW - what a walk report.

I've yet to post my first report, so you've beaten me to it Monster partner... I know your Dad is my walking partner, but really, you're a much better walker than him! He's slow and lazy..!

That really was a Monster Ridge walk and you managed it so easily. We Monstered it over some monster rocks and then we managed to munch our way through some chocolate bars! I have some great photos's to post as well, but I'm so tired now I have to go to bed. I will post these for you tomorrow though.....

Night Night Monster Megan..... (and Sam)

Until our next adventure. Love You. Uncle Scraggles...xx

That's a great report Megan, is it the first one you've written? Looks like you all had a great day out.
Well done to you all for doing that scary ridge

I've yet to do this one but when I do I might be looking for a brave guide who has done it before

That looked a swell day, pity it went "down hill" after with.....
Then we had a party with Monty.
