Cruach Ardain via Beinn Tulaichean

Weather: Sunny periods and very still to complete overcast and a bit drizzle.
Route: farm tracks, faint and worn paths, open hillside.
Wildlife: Roe deer.
Special Interest: No mobile signal till 2/3rds of way up Beinn.

Chose a route beyond highest fence as suggested and aimed just in front of top craigs. Bit boggy and there was a recent landslip to be navigated round lower down. But it is fairly easy to avoid the crags and near the top a footpath becomes obvious and the way to the top is just to follow it.

Looking back to Inverlochlarig from slopes of Tulaichean.

Great views all around, especially over to Cruach Ardain, and from here it is very straight forward and a good path all the way.

Met two guys from Paisley who came up the Crianlarich side and had started walking the same time as me.

Got very dull while we were at the top and after a blether, started back as I was getting cold.

The Paisley two at the top where I left them.

Back down at the bealach there is a faint path going down the slope that follows the side of a burn lower down. Plenty of crags to avoid in this area so wouldn't choose to come up this way.

Eventually got down to the track after losing the 'path', then a walk back along the farm track to the bridge and car park accompanied by a little drizzle.
