Route description: Beinn Each from Loch Lubnaig

Munros included on this walk: Stùc a' Chròin

Corbetts included on this walk: Beinn Each

Date walked: 16/06/2012

Time taken: 5.5 hours

Distance: 14 km

Ascent: 1200m

Pretty tough but enjoyable. No clear paths at lower levels on the hill.

????????? no paths at lower levels ????? from my memories there is a path the whole way to stuc a chroin, maybe not on the descent west but it soon picks up the path from loch lubnaig to loch earn ????

Yep, you are right.
I did these two, when summer visited us for the day at the end of May. There is a clear path all the way, however I think some people cut the corner before they get to the sign post and have to go off-piste, before picking the path up again higher up Beinn Each.

It's the getting down from Stuc that's the pain in the butt..... no real path and a whopping great deer fence surrounding densely packed pine trees. Once you get through or past the trees you're onto the path in Glen Ample from Lochs Earn to Lubnaig as you said. It was here that I got the sunburn I'm still peeling from!!!! lol
