Route description: Lochnagar circuit, Glen Muick

Munros included on this walk: Lochnagar

Date walked: 18/06/2011

Time taken: 7.5 hours

Distance: 11.75 km

Ascent: 930m

My first Munro, and a beauty it is. What a great day out, the fantastic weather on the day probably helped. :D

Maybe a little ambitious for a group of 9 first timers with little experience, but what an introduction to Munros, and definitely one that will hook you.

Och aye, its a cracker.. I often forget how cool it is up there and the next time I go up I'm always blown away :lol:

Glad you had better weather than when i did my first munro on the 23rd of June when i did Ben Nevis.

Once you're hooked that's you on the slippery slope....but seriously, well done and glad you got better weather than I did up there (hardly saw a thing all day !) - cheers :D
