We took 6 hrs 25mins from road to road and covered 18.6km, however Sue took her running shoes and covered to full loop in 6 hrs 50 mins covering the 26km, she then drove down and picked us up. She left us at the start of the decent.
First day of our trip north and the weather forecast promising and it turned out fine.
There are a great bunch of reports on walkhighlands and those that pointed out the boggy ground and long grind up the first munro , Sgurr na Ruaidhe accurate and useful.

We set off up the land rover track past the power station and followed the path after the track finished all the way to the top there is a fair amount of bog during this accent, and the accent is not that exciting.

With the cloud being quite high we ahd great views all round from the first top and the next two munro are quite clear with Sgurr a Choire Ghlas dominating.

The walk from Sgurr na Ruaidhe to Carn a Gobhar not too long with good views we then continued on to Sgurr a Choire Ghlais which is the highest point of the day.

The walk from this points becomes a super high-level ridge walk that is a real enjoyment with super views on to the loch monar hills.
From Sgurr a Choire Ghlais there is the top of Creag Ghorm a Bhealaich to cross prior to the accent of Sgurr Fuar Thuill

We continued along the ridge to a small cairn which marked the start of the very good path that lead to the road.
The horizon on the way down is dominated by the back of the loch Mullardoch hills Carn nan Gobhar and Sgurr na Lapaich, which is much more impressive from the north than it was when climbing it from the south.
