The plan today was to climb the two Munros from Glenfinnan but as we'd drove to Arisaig to camp at the Kinloid campsite for two nights i didn't see the point of driving all the way back to Glenfinnan and looked for a walk closer to home. I had a look at the map and read the Corbett book and decided on this little trio as it promised stunning views to Rum and Eigg amongst others. When we set off from Inverailort little did we know that this was going to turn out to be our best walk yet, as the cloud was low and did not look like it would clear but were we in for suprise. As we headed up the path round Tom Odhar and into Coire a' Bhuiridh there was little sign of things changing so we followed the river up, we should have actually crossed it at the bridge further down to get on the ridge earlier but this was an error on my part and we eventually got onto the ridge just before Druim Fiaclach. By this point the clag had lifted, the blue sky was out and the views from Druim Fiaclach were stunning. We could see exactly where we heading and made our way along the ridge to the first Corbett of the day, Sgurr na Ba Glaise, enjoying the views as we went. We were loving this walk as we continued the ridge walk to Corbett no.2, Rois-Bheinn, and the book was not wrong, with the views to the Islands absolutely stunning. We could easily have sat here all night but we had another one to climb and made our way back to the Bealach an Fhiona to find a route to An Stac. There is a wall that can be followed down just before the bealach but the initial bit looked pretty steep so we decided to go down at the bealach then made our way up An Stac. An Stac is very rocky with some large boulders but it was good fun finding a route up through them as it was finding a route down An Stac. Again we were not to disappointed with the views enroute to An Stac and from it's summit. We again sat for a bit at the summit taking in all the views before we made our way down to the path back to the start. We were out for a total of 9hrs and i have to say its the best 9hrs i've spent walking, just beating Knoydart and Liathach.
