Hey Dogplodder I (and my constant hill companion my wife) are newbies having only done a few hill before and after our Nevis walk at the end of July. Your report was excellent and for me its great to get first had info re scrambling, terrain, difficulty etc - we are starting to really enjoy more scrambly/technical hills and this will be on the future list but still looks pretty challenging!

Great (and I am underselling it!) photo's  we were mostly mist locked on Ben Donich yesterday so v jealous

Looking forward to other reports :D

Thanks for that, DP. Looks like a top day out.

A useful report too, I'm coming to Kintail next week and hoping to do this route. I hope the weather is as good as you had.

Welcome to you both to an activity that tops them all - literally and metaphorically. Once you have your gear it's free (apart from fuel to get to start point) and you can't say that about many leisure activities! It sounds like you've already done a little scrambling so I don't think it will be long before you're tackling this one! :D
