Hi again, this was my second trip out and joined again by good friends Rob and Steve we had a great day. We followed the route as described and had a few laughs as we entered the bull's field. We also got warned from other walkers there about a wasps nest at the summit so sat a good distance away from the cairn to eat lunch.

I really enjoyed West Lomond when we walked there last year and I think this is a good time of year as the path from the car park was surrounded by beautiful purple heather most of the way. I was convinced there was a nest last year as we heard quite a bit of buzzing so like you we stayed well clear.
