The time has come, Alan s said he would go back over the ridge with me the next good day available, the 7th of october was the date. I picked up springer at 6.30am and headed on up to meet Alan s,savagealice and rockhopper, in glencoe . Alan said to meet him just round from his uncle jimmy's house
, parked just past the white cottage in the small layby, rockhopper had parked at other end of ridge across from clachaig inn road,Alan picked him up and had already picked alice up ,as alan is on holiday in dornoch (thanks for driving back all that way to go over the ridge again mate). we all geared up and headed of at 9.00am. its a steep start but we are soon at the top after an hour and after many stops on way up as me and springer hadnt been out for ages, the weather was glorious but a bit cold in the shade.after a few photos of start of ridge and soon seen the weather change ahead we decided lets get this done, i really enjoyed this walk it was different from anything i have done before even though we done the inn pinn and forcan ridge ,i felt really comfortable even with the drizzle on the smoothe rocks and the many loose rock holds, at the start of the first descent an abcess i had on the back of my neck burst and was really sore i had no plasters and didnt want to use my buff as the stuff coming out was minging
, but florence(Alan s) came to the rescue he shouted i have plasters what a guide eh until he opened his pack and it was plasters for kids nice colours though
. got one on and carried on. a really great day out in great company and a stop in at the kingshouse on way home was a great finish. thanks to everyone that went and helped keep everybody right with footholds and routes . pictures are rubbish due to my phone
- the way down think rockhopper enjoyed the scree more than us
