Mullach na Dheiragain via Inverinate Estate

Having driven up that morning we arrived at the parking area at the entrance to the Estate just after ten with the comment from Jimmy that " at least we're acclimatised for it". This comment was due to the fact i like my car to be cool when driving where as Jimmy has his like a sauna, where you sweat more on the drive up than you do walking the Munros. After Jimmy and Mo got out the car to get warmed up we got the bikes off and got set for the off. I had previously walked out this track in August whilst doing a couple of Corbetts so i knew it would be perfect for cycling. We cycled as far as Iron Lodge which took around 1hr 20mins negotiating Highland Cows, a Black Highland Bull who sighed and lowered his head as we passed him, he was on the track and wasn't for moving as well as Sheep and Deer. From Iron Lodge we took the track around the Lodge which climbed up to Lochan Droma, leaving it shortly after to another track before a steep climb to gain the ridge. Once on the ridge it was easier going as we continued to the 947 top for lunch then the final short walk to the summit, taking 5hrs in total. We returned via the inward route taking 3hrs to return to the car and thankfully on the outward most of the cattle were off the track. A long hoof this one but made so much easier with the bikes. When we returned we drove to Craig to spend the night at Jerrys Bunkhouse, not the best but thats another story, to prepare for Mondays 3 Munros.

Good approach. I will be going back up this one from this direction at some point
