Bod wrote:Great effort there Susie and Jeff. Lovely photos and place I hope to visit too, as I have relatives down in Kintyre and have always been intrigued to find out more about the Beavers? :) :) :)

Thanks Bod :D There've been four kits born this year to two of the beaver families so hope you get to see them :D

hi suzie,im going slightly off topic here :( im no engineer, and know nothing about wheel chairs :( :(

however it ocurred to me that if the big wheels were at the front, and the small wheels trailing at the rear, the chair would be better able to cope with rough terrain.

i guess if such an item is available the cost would be sky high :(

anyhoo once again your report is inspirational, and has stopped me complaining about a wee bit o sciatica :) :)

I think you're right as Jeff kept turning the wheelchair round on the really stony or muddy parts so the big wheels were then first

Thank you again :D However, sciatica can be pretty painful as I've suffered from it myself before so no need to stop complaining

Hi Susie,

Just like everyone else, we were inspired by this - something to remember when we're feeling stiff or lethargic... We do hope that the new wheels give you some new possibilities.

Sorry we've been out of touch for a while - will PM soon about Torridon etc.!

All the best,

Daniel and Clare
