Set off early from home on Friday (2nd Nov) for a weekend walking in the west.

Drove to Glen Nevis and set off for Stob Ban as a single hit as I had turned back from the horseshoe on Mullach nan Coirean due to high winds last November.

There was contrasting weather with snow showers and blue skies at various times throughout the day. Not too difficult to get to the top with care although the snow had not bound and slid away on the steeper sections making it one step up, two back at times.

I’ll let the pictures tell the story ……

A great day to be on the hills, and then it was off to Fort William for a few beers in the hotel.
