Leithy said it all regarding this route, so I won't write much.
I did it An Socach - Beinn Iutharn Mhor - Carn Bhac as I thought the established paths would be easier on tired legs, it worked ok.
Solo walk, so no banter to report back on, just a weird mix of music;
Cast, Neil Diamond, Lana Del Rey, Linkin Park vs Jay Z, Guns n Roses then Oasis with some assorted singles thrown in.
The gps track is roughly the way I went, I only turn on gps if I have no clue where I am or to confirm summit point.
I can add pics if you really want, I only took 19 as I was very cold and I was racing the sun as I was not sure if I could get round in daylight. Despite that, it was a fun day!
Timings
0730 - enough light to walk
0800 - sunrise and set off
0900 - at the ruins (where I left the bike)
1000- An Socach summit
1145 - Beinn Iutharn Mhor summit (via Loch nan Eun, contour following)
1315 - Carn Bhac summit (peat hags were sore on the legs)
1415 - at the ruins (faffed here with cables for a bit and spoke to Geo and Colin
1500 - at the car
