5:00am? pah - I was up at 3:30 on Saturday to get to Beinn a'Ghlo for a pre-dawn start.

Nice report though - looks like you had a crackin' day (but not a crackin' ankle!)

Beinn a'Ghlo looked hugely attractive as we were driving past yesterday afternoon. I think i'll wait until the longer days come in though

Crackin' day - getting your winter experience bit by bit - after days like this though you'll be hooked in no time.

The sunrise shots are the motivation for us dragging ourselves out of the house at that time - this weekend I even had my boots and gaiters on before I started the drive as I knew how cold it would be at the other end - no need for frozen fingers to start with.
