Cheers for all the comments guys.

I know the feeling! I had the option of staying for another night but my excuse for not doing was that there was a wee bit of cloud and 20mph winds coming in the following day - shame on me... (I heard it reached -12C that night though, so I'm pretty glad I didn't stick it out.)

Aye, I couldn't quite believe the forecast when I saw it - particularly considering that (probably true) myth about Knoydart being the wettest place in Britain.

Cheers guys,
Joe

Simply awesome! I'd thought these were hills to save for a long summer's day - but clearly I was wrong.

My Scotland virus has escaped its quarantaine thanks to this great piece of work. The symptoms will soon manifest themselves. "Darling, why are you cooking our dinner on that tiny stove?"
