Just a few random snaps from a Boxing Day trip. Might not be a Munro but plenty of walking in this one, and navigation would be tricky at the top in poor conditions.

A bit claggy during most of the walk, but milder than the pics suggest. Some heavy snow came down while we were descending and am very glad we were not caught up in that higher up.

Strange thing was we did not see another soul out on the hills that day. Apart from the goats that is...

Nice pictures, I was up Ben Ledi yesterday and it was much the same. Snowing from about 11.30am and all the way down to the car. Nothing to see from the top, except that I have never seen so many people on a Corbett (except Ben Vrackie) before in my life. People were queueing up the hill, including a huge party with down hill skis planning to head down off the other side. Mental.

I done this twice from loch ard but would be keen to try the route from loch acrhay
When i first saw the goats they looked like deer from a distance was pretty embarresed when i got closer and realised what they were.
now whenever we go out and see any deer my mates will say look at they goats

Nice report - thanks. One of the hills I really keep meaning to get up.

I was planning heading into that area today (Beinn Each and Stuc a Chroin from Loch Lubnaig) but woke to several inches of snow and the A9 closed near Dunblane. Spent the morning digging the driveway clear instead

Mind you I carried on and dug my way through to the pub next door so the day hasn't been entirely wasted

Pretty impressive. I was nearby on Creag Mac Ranaich and the adjacent Corbett whose name I have forgotten and didn't see anyone else all day, apart from a couple of estate workers chopping wood at the bottom. Was also rather lacking in views, although some fenceposts made parts of the navigation easier.

Looks a great hill - hope to do it one day... eventually... sigh - just soooo many Munros! At least I've started on the Corbetts as well now as I've done all the Munros in some of the areas I still want to go.

This is one of my favourite walks. I have seen the goats, too, and I saw some recently on the WHW between Rowardennan and Inversnaid. The smell was overpowering!
