I set off about 7am hoping to get up high before sunrise and I wasn't disappointed. Stunning views with an inversion rolling in over Loch Tay. But after Ben Lawers summit the clag came in to spoil the views all the way round to Meall Greigh. The traverse back to the car park after the track was pretty horrible and boggy but the views of the inversion kept me going.

Those pre-clag pics are fantastic...it's like some sort of frozen wasteland up there. Did these in April snow last year and it was clag-bound summits from the off, with the very occasional and very brief clearance, not really enough to get full appreciation of the surroundings. Hope to return on a clearer day. Yet to do Tarmachan and the ones behind Lawers so, distinct possibility.
