A bright day with Gavin,good views ,tough going at times with a wee detour :lol: and a couple of missions to save first a glove then the map case :lol: Bitterly cold in the wind on the tops ,especially on Tairneachan but all in all a good one :thumbup:

Like the ploughed track photograph :) , lots of snow fallen. It looks like the snow was quite hard on top and that you were not sinking in too far, which would have helped. It looks COLD though!

Cheers fellas,Saturday was the best day weather wise i've had for a while,glad that track had been ploughed though :lol: The snow was mostly firm enough to make for good walking,would like to have known what the wind chill was though,must have been bitter on nearby Schiehallion :crazy:

Aye the mines are still in use Caberfeidh,a mineral called Baryte ,Gavin gave me a lesson on what is mined there and it's use,more info here
