Been off the hills for 3 weeks MOT time. Email from pidgeon Gulvain on sunday weather looking good . Normal start time 0800 hrs then had to wait for the back shift who arrived at 0830 .
Booted and suited and off by 0845hrs route as per WH one way up one way down even we cannot get get lost . Weather spot on for a wee walk in the country made good time on the track then we seen the LUMP covered in clag at about 600m . All thoughts were leading to what a B*ll Breaker
No snow the track was easily picked up then up up up up up up we went pidg leading and the rest of us tagging along Over the first 500m then the 2nd wee lump then on to the trig point jackets on by then into the snow and a wee breeze picked up Huck with one of his gadgets measured it at 40mph
Not even on the mountain yet Looming in front of us was the south top and in the cloud the target . Snow was deep in places but firm some places was pretty hard going in the wind . Got over the south top then onto the cairn arrived there just about noon . Number 141 for me and Jake had a brew a photo shoot stayed huddled behind the cairn out of the wind for about 15min then back we went . Got back to the trig point no wind stopped for a wee spot of lunch and Sengas home made soup braw .
The only thing left now to do was the long haul back . Pidgeon ahead as normal trying to or beating Gavs record for getting down hill . By the time the rest of us got off the hill pidg was at the first bridge enjoying the rays and getting the head down jake soon put a stop to that . All was left was the walk back along the track to the start point and finished for about 4pm then the journey back which was interupted with a few refreshments in Glen Coes finest ale house . Good day out great company with pidge huck frigate and the bold jake

Well done on reaching the halfway point

A great hill to mark the occasion as well :D Some great photos there. Glad you got the views. I seem to recall seeing hee-haw from the summit a few weeks back. And after all that effort it took to get there too  A seriously steep hill, but a good hill nonetheless :D

Looks a great day for it - like the ridge pics

Couldn't think why the number 141 was in any way relevant at first
I need to get my brain in gear sometimes!!
