On xmas eve, i had a walk up A'Chailleach (monadh liath) it was a fine day. beside the hut at the bottom, on the way up and back down. I heard a woman say "What u doing" i turned round. i checked the hut and found it to be empty. Whats that all about???????? No-one was around.. A'Chailleach means 'old woman'. Aint that strange!!! :)

Great! I'm doing those in February and expect to finish past that hut in the dark! LOL - I'll say hi to her for you;-)

we were up over that one along with the other two - I do now remember that I really hate bog trotting lol.

rememeber use the bridges. the second munro is a pain in the arse. havin to decend about 1000feet then rise again :(

Thanks - I will. I'm going clockwise as I don't want a long complicated glen walk in the dark at the end so I'm coming down over A' Chailleach.

Aye we did it clockwise - I would imagine frozen would be marvelous - some of those bogs are pretty deep. You are right, coming over between the second and third hill is a real pain.
