Fersit 2 nae probs

Just me and steve with the bold jake the rest of the gang are in the wilds of Torridon. Picked Stevie up at Tisos inPerth at 0615 got to Fersit at 0810 on the go for 0830 .
Left the Farm track at the bridge and struck a route for Bheinne ground frozen good progress made our own route through the crags kept off the snow slush with ice . Got to the wee cairn at the top and picked up a track and made our way up to SCS . The cloud rolled in and stayed with us for the rest of the day . Got to the cairn just after 11am hung about for the customary photos views nil .
The route we took to Chno was Glac Bahn , 958 point then to 924 point then the long trek up to Chno . Stevie trusting my dodgy map reading and checking now and again on Steves GPS . Hit the target at just before 1300hrs still in the cloud with a cold icy wind then suddenly it cleared and it stayed for the rest of the day. With the Fersit farm in view route back straight down got back to the car at 1500 .
A good day out finished off with a beer stop at the ghillies BRAW

Was trying to see from photo's, but still not sure - did you use/need crampons? Ta. Jimmy.

The snow was patchy in areas on the way up with ice underneath but can be easily avoided the southern slope on the way down was slush the way up to Chno patchy snow and ice we never found the need for spikes or crampons

Thanks, Ian. Hope the snow stays away next few days and I might get a pop at these two soon! That beer looks good, too.
