I was going to post some photos on "Been walking lately? want to share some photo's" of this trip but there are too many pictures to share there. So here is a brief report on what you Bothy virgins could be missing....you cannot beat a Bothy night by the fire with friends. :D
It's a good path to the Bothy, but it is steep in places with a heavy pack, but the rewards outweigh the pain :D
Once at the Bothy we combed the beach for driftwood to compliment the coal we had carried in, then had a wander along the coast. The mist and low cloud came in before sunset, so we retired for a night of much merriment and music from our guitar playing hero Alan Ross, who had carried a guitar in for our entertainment.
The next morning we awoke to clear skies...a real magic morning :D
The walk out was a pleasure, with views up high out to Egg and Rum.
Thanks to Keith, Carol, Janet, Alan and Ele for making it a great trip.

It was bad enough missing the bothy action without knowing what I'd missed.

Wow, this bothy looks lovely! Can you tell me please, is the walk in 11km or is that the walk there AND back? I don't yet have the OS map for the region. Thanks :-)
