The weather on the drive up was encouraging to say the least blue skies sun nice drive all the way,got to the starting point at the side of loch cluanie meet tomsie and away we went a good path all the way up to the plateau.
we could see the weather closing in so didnt hang about to long so of we went to Sgurr nan Conbhairean as we started to climb the clag came in and the wind picked up the snow came onto :( so much for 60% clear top this is where we stopped to put on our jackets and goggles and balaclavas, got to the summit Sgurr nan Conbhairean which sits right at the edge and was heavily corniced infact the full eastside of the hill was corniced, could'nt see a thing so made the decision to bail and head back the same route as we took up the way.

I hope the video plays ok as this is the firsttime ave done it

I reckon as long as the ice-axe is positioned so it doesn't cause injury if the walker falls then it's fine, i.e having the sharp ends across the rucksack rather than pointing inwards towards the head or arse.

Another good day out, only the weather putting a small damper on things near the end and our choice of lunch spot suppose one way of cooling off tut tut .

I thought it was easier to reach in that position.

Nice video and very apt music :D A shame you only bagged the two, but this is a great walk and so the inevitable return will be well worth it :D Hopefully the snow will have gone by then
