When I joined this site back last autumn, I read some of your posts and thought you were one crazy guy for doing long multi-day treks. At that time I could never have imagined wanting to do that, let alone doing a (short by your standards) one myself. But I can't think when I last enjoyed 4 days so much. I've got 9 days to spend in Sutherland at the beginning of June and am thinking of making at least some of that time multidayer trips rather than coming back to tent & car every night. The first time I try it out in the rain and mist for days on end (which - let's face it is the default position for Scottish weather) will be a better test of my mettle than the blissful sunshine around Ben Alder last weekend
