Up at 6am and traveling up to Kinlochewe for the spring meet. Parked up in the Coire Dubh car park by 9.30am, the weather was holding up from Friday so high hopes for good views and I was not disappointed.
As this was my 2nd walk of the year I decided on the Corbett Lochan Uaine, I new most of the others were doing munros but with no crampons or ice axe the Corbett was my best bet, I was planing traversing to Sgurr Dubh but the weather broke and the terrain between the 2 tops looked very rough.
A great stalkers path leads the way, I came to a small cairn on the path and from here its basically straight up picking your own path, I kept to the right of the tributary of the Allt nan Lochan , nearer the summit it becomes very rocky terrain, there was snow on the top but nothing to bad.
I must say I had a great night in hotel bar in the evening and meeting all who were there - looking forward to the next one :D Here are the pics i took...

Yes for those of us who did not arrive until Friday/Saturday it was good that the weather held on Saturday. It was good to meet you at breakfast yesterday. :)

Nice report and pics.

Nice one David. Good to see how you spent your time (or at least when not in the pub). Was good to meet you too. I'm loving that black and white Liathach. :D

A nice set of photos. Looks like a good hill to soak up the views of the surrounding giants. The personal favourite for me has to be the photo os the ferry across Loch Torridon :D
