A' Bhuidheanach Bheag, Carn na Caim

19kmForecast looked best for SE Highlands so decided to finish off the boring old Drumochter hills
Had the 3 on the eastern side of the A9 to do & just went for the easy option of driving in between.
Layby 87 is on the left if you're driving north, and just past a sign for the distillery. Across the road & through the gate, construction work going on so there's 'authorised personnel only' signs on the gate.
Soon through the work area, looking back down from the path:
Bit steep at the start, soon up at the quarry.
Then turned left for Carn na Caim. Plenty of land rover tracks to follow, right here:
Followed a fence, few boggy bits but not much ascent.

Then back to the bealach for A' Bhuidheanach Bheag.
Bit boggier this side with more ups & downs and the path isn't as obvious.

Cloud started to clear on the return to bealach.
So I could see the ups & downs.
Rain stopping as I descended, might even get some views on the next hill
Meall Chuaich

650m ascent
15kmDrove up to layby 94 next, it's on the right but there's a farm road on the left just after it where you can turn. Other walkers had parked on the grass verge at the gate at the start of the track.
Brought the bike for the approach to this one, Meall Chuaich from the track:
Carn na Caim looking less claggy now.
Parked bike at bothy then over the bridge to the path uphill.
Back down to the road in:
Boggy at the start, then a few rocky bits further up.
Now that's a big cairn.

Headed back down.
