I have the same relationship with the hills of Galloway -spent my early childhood there but ain't been up any of the hills apart from Screel at Castle Douglas and Criffel at Dumfries though I dare say they can't properly be classed as Gallowayan. Anyway, can't recommend Suilven highly enough though a long day.
