She is finished now and i am " fortanach " to be right on the doorstep of Sgurr Dhomhnuill ,Garbh Bheinn and a rake of Ardgour /Sunart Corbetts and Grahams:D

Bha mi air a cnuic beagan am Gheamhraidh ..... I have claimed a few hills over this winter in between building, but no as many as i would like ,so air Di Sathairne i decided to do Sgorr a Chaorainn and Beinn na h Uamha at the back of Airidh Fhionndail
This involved cycling my bike from the new house to Ceann a Creagan a total of 20mins an cu was the wingman

Ceann a Creagan " the head of the rocks" .... aite inntinneachd, below the old mine works this old clachan was home to a few Suaineartaich in past times, their Airidh or sheilings are plain to see on the Glen floor.

From here a easy coisich following the river keeps you out of the bog ,path is faint in places before you climb the bealach onto the shoulder of Sgorr a Chaorainn

We were soon on the mullach of Na h Uamha and aye Sgurr a Chaorainn seems a good way back , be a long haul in the snow

We were about 40 mins back onto Sgurr a Chaorainn and a wee cadail in the fasgadh for half an hour

There is good visibility from the top a chaorainn to Suaineart and sios ann Ghlinne Mhic Phail and Gleann Scaddle and worth the rest

Tilleadh sin dhachaidh ..... we went back home the same way although you could do this route as a circular if you had transport at Aird nan Gobhair .
Tha mi a fhalbh gu an t eilean Sgithanaich an ath direach seachdainn / i m away to Skye next weekend hopefully for Sgurr Dearg and the Innaccesible Pinnacle, but an cu ? .......... well he is staying home
