Sgurr na Banachdich 965m
I left the car at the Glen Brittle Youth Hostel and walked up coire a ghreadaidh to reach a feint diverging path leading up to Coir an Eich.

I took the direct route up the ridge of An Diallaid over the rocky ridge and up onto the main spine of the Sgurr Na Banachdich.

A short pull up over some fresh snow and rocks and the crest summit and cairn was reached 1.5 hours after the start. And a Cuillin summit without the need for any hands on scrambling, nice one.

The cloud lifted and provided limited opportunities for some photographs. Sadly not able to see the entire Cuillin ridge on this occasion.

I headed back down the ridge and took a direct route south to regain the main path to the car.

3 hours in total, no doubt thanks to lightweight boots and a reduced winter pack weight.

A short drive and a couple of phot stops later I was sitting in Seamus’s bar at the Slig with a cool pint of Guinness and a fish supper with a prime seat to watch the second half of the european league semi final. Champion!

Oh yes, I remember this route one fine May day a few years back. A bit different to your day though. A nice wee straightfoward one by Cuillin standards.

Yet to do but good to see it appears 'straightforward'. Nice day and evening by the sounds of it.

Cheers Graeme D, it is a grand hill and on a clear day the views would be superb.

Hi Kevsbald, yip you will enjoy this one and if the conditions permit you can continue along the ridge to the left and take on the two munros and a wee descent through the an dorus and back to the car, if they are still on the to do list. Of course a pint in Seamus's bar is a must do. Cheers Kenny
