First Munro
I completed my munro today - not expecting Beinn Dorain to be the first one, as we were going to do Ben Vorlich but was so misty and foggy, it was amazing apart the weather. So proud of myself, as never thought a year ago I would be able to achieve this.
My guide is fabulous - Niel Chisholm (Moda as I like to call him - not Yoda but Moda for Mountain LOL) as he looked after me, was patient and encouraging the whole time. Even laugh when I slipped on a wet stone on the way down - must say though he was laughing at me laughing. No injuries for anyone either.
I was not sure what to expect when we set off, as you couldn't see anything but the steepness and then the "flat bits" were as they were on the hills, it just keeps going and going.
Can't wait for the next one now - Niel hasn't told me which one it will be.
