What a scorching weekend this was and i was picked up after 7 by Jim we headed up the long road to Kintail where we started the walk at 11 before hand checking out scenery and possible campsites

wee seen the point a year earlier and wondered what it was so wee took a notion to climb it the saddle

was a very warm day on the assent so i took every chance to refill and drink water on the long road up

i got the chance to try my new Canon 1000d out too my new hillwalking slr upgrading from my 350d

wee took the forcan ridge was a bit daunting at first sight but was no too bad once we got on too it

wee eventually made the summit and enjoyed views over to SKYE and Ben Nevis then we did the 2nd munro and seen the Seaking flying low

We came off the hill at 2145 that night tired after a hard day

Enjoy my images
