Was going to watch the Wimbledon final on Sunday, but the weather looked good & Murray had no chance anyway so it was up at 4am and off to Kintail.

Parked opposite the campsite, there's limited parking further up at the outdoor centre though. Over a bridge then footpath signed falls of Glomach:

Nice path...

leads all the way to the bealach between Fhada and A'Ghlas-bheinn.
Image

Over a burn then turn off at the cairn for Fhada.
Image

Path leads to a corrie & continues up the wall.
Image

Up on the ridge, stony here but then gets boggy so staying close to the crags on the left is probably the best bet.

Brothers ridge:

Trig point & interesting descent ridge...which I'm not taking cos I'm bagging the 2. I'll be back.

Cloudy Sisters:

Then back the same way, nice descent ridge again:

Up to the bealach.
Image

Then there's a big cairn and a rough path branches off to A'Ghlas-bheinn.
Image

Back down to Loch a'Bhealaich on the other side of the bealach.
Image

False summits before the top.
Image

Fhada descent ridge again. Which I didn't take.
Image

Finally the true summit.
Image

Fhada from the cairn.

Gleann Gaorsaic:
Image

Stony path at the start of the descent.
Image

Disappears in the bog.
Image

Steep grass leads down to a bridge at the plantation.
Image

Landrover track at the bridge, turn left.
Image

Leads through a meadow witha derelict cottage. I continued on the landrover track, then realised I'd missed the cut off for the bridge.
Image

So, back to the meadow & through the stile.
Image

Over the bridge, then rejoined the path out. Met a few other walkers but they didn't know the tennis score. Back to Fhada:

Finally got a phone signal at Fort William & found out the news :D
