Well its has been a while since my last trip report, probably about 16/18 months.
Due to various reasons we just seemed to loose all motivation. Something had to give and unfortunately for us it was the weekends away and the overnight camps.
Hopefully, we are now ready to resume where we left off ohh so long ago. I really hope that we can get back in the groove once again, and put together some serious trips in the near future.
Where better to start than The Isle Of Skye and a BLITZ on the Red Cuillin.
- over to the Black Cuillin
- Julie heading for Glamaig
- Getting ready for the climb of Glamaig
- Wilson summits Glamaig. The Beardie is back!
- Ohh we are both back. Wilson and Jake on Glamaig
- Beinn Dearg Mhor summit.
- Looking to Garbh Bheinn and Blaven
- Belig Garbh Bheinn and Blaven
- Play time at the bottom of the near dry waterfalls heading up to Marsco
- The dogs on Marsco's summit with the Clach Ghlass traverse behind.
- and again
- i need timeout !
- camp spot on top of Marsco
- Wilson on Garbh Bheinn with Blaven behind
- i rather fancy this traverse one day.
- A look back on our route from below Garbh Bheinns summit.
- descending to Glen Sligachan
- Marsco and Garbh Bheinn peeping from behind.
- Final view of Glamaig with Beinn Dearg Mhor,
What a great few days we had, was a pretty tough route for us but considering we have not been out for nearly 18 months i will have to consider this a triumph.
