Heres a wee report from an outing back in February for anyone missing the snow :)
After failing to bag all 4 of these the previous week as the weather was rubbish it turned out to be a blessing in disguise .The forecast for the Wednesday was looking good with greater than 90% chance of cloud free munros what better time to head up the hills.:D .Having been pretty quiet at work this week i managed to wangle a wee day off to get up there and bag these 2 on what was a memorable day in the hills. I'll let the photos do the rest 8)

Nice one soapy but, jings - it's only little over 2 months ago that I stopped having to carry the ice axe  Here's hoping we get a wee bit longer before having to carry winter gear again - cheers :)

Brilliant soapy27! 8) Sitting here, admiring your pictures, with the windows open to let the day’s heat out and a bit of a breeze in. I find them very refreshing!

I know it doesn't feel that long ago since carrying the heavy gear , I'm still enjoying these long days and shorts and doning tshirt myself so a couple more months would suit me fine :D

Bring it on. Was thinking about the weight saving losing the crampons, axe etc. but thinking about it its made up in extra water and fluids in this weather, cos my pack definitely hasnt felt any lighter

Really enjoyed this report, and the pics - particularly the last one of the cornice - that's a great photo.

You've made us feel a bit better about us never managing to write up a report till months, or even years, after the event! It's nice to mix the seasons a bit, anyway...

All the best,

Daniel and Clare (Torridon_snails)
