Used the bikes again for this one, cycling as far as the end of the forest. We left the bikes at the fence where the track ends and the path begins. We now walked up the Glen to the col and turning right to climb Beinn Dearg first, the highest and probably the toughest climb of the four. After summiting we returned to the col and then went over to Cona Mheall before returning back down and over the 886m and an easy climb to Meall nan Ceapraichean. From here it was over the 967m top and steeply down before climbing Eididh nan Clach Geala. We left the summit in a south west direction to pick up the path that would take us back to the bikes. There was good paths for most of the walk, with fainter ones avoiding the rocky bit on Beinn Dearg and Cona Mheall. Conditions were also not too bad underfoot as previous reports had reported boggy sections but they were few and far between for us. It was a great walk with the first 3 Munros easily accessable from the col, though Eididh nan Clach Geala slightly more difficult to get to.

A nice circuit, that one, Johnny. I particularly like the spots around Lochan Lathail and Lochan Uaine, and the view over the steep east face of Cona' Mheall from the summit.

Cheers. Possibly hard going in heavy snow but wouldn't see many problems on a good winters day. Daylight hours may be the biggest problem. :)
