We started at the Invercauld Estate Car Park at 6:20am and we had started walking down a private road for a very long time. But we were walking at a pace so we were walking fast. We got to the Slugain Lodge (ruin) in 1hr 50mins and thats 5 miles into the walk :). We walked right round the side of Beinn a'Bhuird then round the side of Ben Avon up to The Sneck. On the right was Ben Avon to the left was Beinn a'Bhuird, we done Ben Avon first. We walked up the steep path going up to the plateau walking to the highest tor where the summit of Ben Avon is. We got to the summit of Ben Avon (Leabaidh an Daimh Bhuidhe) in 4hrs . We came back down the steep path back to The Sneck and then up the steep path to Beinn a'Bhuird. We got on the Plateau and walked to the summit cairn of Beinn a'Bhuird but the good thing is Ben Avon was in the clouds and Beinn a'Bhuird wasnt :D. we got the summit of Beinn a'Bhuird in 2hrs from Ben Avon. we walked to the South Summit too. After that we just walked all the way back to the car park :).

That's a big trip but well worth it - well done. You get a real feeling of the vastness of the landscape up there as well as a wee climb on the tors - cheers :)
